Wedding Day Coverage

Thanks for taking the time to review my portfolio.
I photograph weddings using a combination of traditional, photo-journalistic and fine art styles. I remain mostly anonymous "capturing" images as I see them. My photography portrays the natural emotion of a moment without distraction. My subtle approach and familiar personality helps me to photograph your wedding day seamlessly. I’ll do the work; you relax and enjoy your day!

  8 hours of coverage: $1450
I shoot mixed black and white and color wedding photography for $1450.00, based upon an 8-hour day. Typically I will photograph the bride as she is finishing getting ready, arriving at the ceremony, groom with groomsmen ahead of ceremony, ceremony, formal indoor and outdoor shots, introductions, and all formal events and party/dancing at the reception until I hit the 8-hour mark.
You will receive the wedding day coverage, 300+ proofs in an album, online gallery and wedding day slide presentation (See paragraphs below for details).

A $200 deposit is due upon the signing of the wedding contract and is necessary to insure my availability for the day of your wedding. Payments may be made at any time (cash or check) and the balance is due one week prior to your wedding date.

Additional time may be contracted ahead of time or requested on the spot for an additional $125/hour charge. Payment for additional time is due upon request. Travel expenses may also be added modestly for out of area weddings.

Proof Album: Traditional or Contemporary. INCLUDED!
You will receive this proof album in about two weeks after your wedding day. It is a mixed black and white and color album. The pictures are organized chronologically in a simple "proof" preview album that is yours to keep! Your proof album contains at least 300 - 4x6 photos, but often 400+ photos. This album is included in the price stated on the contract. The photos do not say “Proof” on them. You may choose between the “traditional” album, which has a black leather cover and clear pages that the photographs slip into. Or choose the “contemporary” album, which is the most popular. The “contemporary” album is an actual book, where the image IS the flat printed page. This artistic and modern, coffee table style album is bound by a 7x7 inch hard cover and comes complete with photo jacket. Extra copies of either album can be ordered additionally.

While viewing your proof album you should form a list of image numbers, quantity, size, finish (matte/glossy) and choice of color or black and white for your reprints and/or formal album. I will include order sheets for this purpose. See separate sheet for enlargement pricing details.

Laptop slide show: INCLUDED!

During the dinner hour I will create a laptop computer slide show using photos taken earlier in the day. This presentation is unique, immediate assurance that your photos are as great as you expected and is a memorable addition to your wedding day! A copy of this slideshow is available on DVD for $50.

Online photo gallery: INCLUDED!
Every couple will receive a card by their place setting with simple instructions about where to view your wedding photos online. This included feature is great for out of state guests and friends. This gallery also alleviates you from having to coordinate photo orders from friends and family who want enlargements…and besides, what could be better then sitting by the pool on your honeymoon cruise, drinking a pina colada and checking out your own beautiful wedding photos?

  Additional Products and Services

Formal Album Information
Pricing for formal albums is completely separate from the wedding photography price. I do not require you to order fixed album packages, as many photographers do. We can deal with albums separately for several reasons...You have enough expenses ahead of your wedding day, why pay for an album when you haven’t even seen your photos? Another reason is complexity. There are many aspects to decide upon, such as album style, cover material, layout and of course, which photos you like most. You will have enough to plan for without designing a wedding album before your wedding day… for these reasons we can deal with the formal album after your honeymoon.

Traditional album. $950.00.

The traditional album has an appearance reminiscent of a large bible (12x13.5”). This album contains 15 pages (each have 2 sides). This album holds thirty 8x10’s or sixty 5x7’s or more 4x6’s (depending upon layout). The photographs in this album are fitted into a vignette mat, which are affixed into a heavy leather cover. The album is guaranteed for life. The price of this album, entirely assembled is $950.00. Extra pages may be added for additional price.

Contemporary album Starting at $550.00.
The contemporary album is an actual hardcover book of your wedding day. It is bound by an 11x13 inch hardcover, with impressive magazine style centerfolds of 11x 26 inches! Each album has twenty, double-sided pages and is professionally designed around your favorite photos. This album offers more flexibility in price and is the most popular. The contemporary album allows many more photos to be displayed than the traditional album and features several magazine style layouts per book. Magazine style pages may be added or substituted. The print quality is exceptional and the entire album is modern, artistic and highly customizable. Extra pages may be added for additional price. Multiple copies may be ordered at a discounted price.

  Photo Considerations/Wedding Planning:

Relax, have fun! You have probably planned and coordinated meticulously. There are plenty of friends, family, bridesmaids/groomsman and hired professionals to rely upon should any problems arise…so relax and enjoy your day!

Should any concerns arise that you feel your hired professionals should know about do not hesitate to speak with them immediately. They just might know a trick of the trade that can save the day!

I typically need about 45 min. after the ceremony for formal photos and at least 30 min. for outdoor photos. The more time the better, for photos. Don’t forget to add driving time to and from all locations. I’ve included a time line for a typical, wedding day. (See somewhere below)
Smile! It looks better in the photos!

Try not to turn your back toward your guests. For example, during the unity candle ceremony face each other and reach/look inward to light the candles rather then having your backs toward your guests…it looks better in the photos!

Allow plenty of time. Make a list of any special groups, individuals or photos that you want and designate some one to gather those people together after the ceremony. I will get all the usual shots. Make sure that you remind the grandparents several times that you want them to remain after the ceremony for photographs. I will photograph them first.

Email your schedule, and photo locations to the photographer along with all cell numbers and any special requests.

At the reception the professionals you hire ideally should be within view of the bride and groom…You may want to let the reception coordinator know that it is important that the pro help is served as soon as possible after head tables so that they have time to eat something before beginning other events of the reception. Often dinner is the only chance that I have to sit or relax in about 8 hours, even then you will find me preparing and working.

  Typical Wedding Day Time Line:
These times are usually minimums for typical weddings…more time is suggested so that we are not rushing. Groomsman often take longer to organize then bridesmaids when it comes to photos, so if you have a particularly “energetic” group, more time should probably be added. Other considerations are extremely large or remarried families, full Catholic mass, special photo/locations/events or long drives/traffic.
